Holiday with your dog in Tyrol
Welcome to the Talhof dog hotel in Wängle
We are delighted to welcome hotel-experienced four-legged friends to our hotel!
The Talhof is not only known for its wonderful location directly on the hiking trails, but also for its facilities for holidays with dogs in Tyrol. The light-flooded panorama suites offer families with dogs a pleasant living environment and plenty of space.
Beautiful hiking trails lead right past the Talhof dog hotel in Wängle, making it the ideal walking route for your dog. Bring a dog blanket/basket for your little darling so that he feels at home in his new surroundings and finds his place.
You will be provided with a mat for the food bowls you bring with you. Please register your dog at the time of booking. Travelling with a dog but without registration causes difficulties in room allocation, which we would like to avoid for the benefit of all.
Out of consideration for our hotel guests with allergies, we ask you to let us know at the time of booking whether you are travelling with a dog. Rooms for dogs are not available in all categories.
Please note that an additional cleaning fee may be charged in the event of above-average soiling (e.g. dog in bed or on the sofa). The standard price per dog and night without food is € 19.

Rules apply to dogs too
Leads, beds etc.
So that your holiday with us is extra special, here are a few rules you need to follow:
- As only a certain number of rooms are available for families with dogs, it is very important for us to know that you are travelling with a dog. As a dog owner, please inform us of this when making your enquiry, but at the latest when booking.
- Our cleaning team love animals and will respect you, but so that you don't have to get unnecessarily upset or if you are defending your territory, please have your humans hang the dog sign on the door.
- Please do not "do your business" on or around the hotel grounds, but only in the open countryside. When walking around the hotel and in the local area, the municipality requires the use of dog waste bags in the local area. The designated dog station is in the right place: directly on the way back from the dog walk at the bridge by the hotel driveway.
- In the hotel you have to walk on a lead – or your humans do ;-)
- If your humans have forgotten the dog food, you can visit the Fressnapf store in Reutte.
- In the hotel you are not allowed to sleep in the bed! But next to it or in front of it.
- You can even join us for dinner, provided you are well behaved and book a table! We will be happy to reserve a table for you in the Lobby Lounge on request.
- However, you may not be fed or receive anything from the table in the restaurant, and your place is on the floor, not on a chair or bench.

Dear dogs,
Life is often quite hard for farmers when the hay they bring in, which they urgently need for your animal friends, is contaminated.
Please also tell your human that they should be considerate and that you should not poo at the edge of a field, and that you should always use a dog poo bag. There are great walking routes nearby that I'm sure you'll enjoy. Just have your human ask at reception for directions or a walking map.
We look forward to seeing you.
Your Talhof Team
Pssst: If someone has told your human that there are no fireworks on New Year's Eve in our region, it's not true! There are.
